The Misericordia University women's soccer team lost a 2-1 match against FDU-Florham Saturday to drop to 5-12. The Cougars paid homage to their departing seniors with Senior Appreciation Day at Mangelsdorf Field.

The Devils got on the board early with a header goal by freshman midfielder Kim Campfield at 27:50. The goal is Fink's ninth of the season. She was assisted by sophomore forward Lora Fink.

The Cougars tied it up in the second half when sophomore forward Kim Suchoski kicked her fifth goal of the year at 50:16. The goal ties Suchoski with Kelly Bergin for the team lead.

The Devils' game-winner came at 65:17 when senior forward Megan Sweeney scored her sixth of the year.

Seniors Lauren Arcury, Elizabeth Lipovsky and Jemila Najjar-Keith were honored in pregame ceremonies. The game was played through steady rain that had both teams sliding around the turf throughout the match.

The Cougars head to Wilkes Wednesday and host Eastern in their regular season finale next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
