The Misericordia University women's tennis team swept FDU-Florham in a conference match Wednesday. With the win, the Cougars improve to 10-2 (4-1 conference).

 

First doubles partners Abby Searfoss and Ashley Mangabang improved to 9-2 as a pair with an 8-2 win in first doubles. The duo posted individual wins in first and second singles play, respectively.

 

Maura Haupt and Courtney Otto stayed one game behind with an 8-3 win. Haupt and Otto are now 8-2 on the season. Both won their respective third and fourth singles match-ups.

 

Sarah Golis and Jennifer Spott improved to 6-1 with an 8-0 shutout. Golis also improved to 10-1 with a win at fifth singles.

 

Lauren Verret had little trouble rounding out the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win in sixth singles.

 

The Cougars head to Eastern Friday, Oct. 10, at 3:00 to take on the conference rival Eagles.
