Cougars Lose to Stevens at Home

The Misericordia University women's swim team lost to Stevens Tech 145-114 Saturday in the team's third home meet of the season.

Amanda McHugh played a large part in the Cougars' 114 points with two solo first place finishes and strong showings in team relays. McHugh captured first in the 100 and 200 Yard Breaststroke with marks of 1:10.93 and 2:39.91, respectively. Her teams finished first and second in the 400 Freestyle and 200 Medley.

Alaina Trent, who was a part of the same second place 200 Medley team, finished first in the 200 IM with a 2:21.96 mark.

The Cougars now stand at 3-2. They head to Lycoming Thursday night for a 6:00 p.m. meet with the Warriors.
