The Misericordia University men's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 decision to Eastern, Saturday at Misericordia.
Matt Hopkins and
Brett Ford won at fifth and sixth singles for the Cougars.
Hopkins and
Justin Muthler rallied for a 9-7 win at second doubles and
Ryan Calby and
Matt Hornak teamed for an 8-6 win at third doubles.
Muthler lost a thrilling match at third singles, 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (9-7).
The Cougars will host Baptist Bible, Monday at 3:30.
