The Misericordia University volleyball team split a pair of matches on the opening day of the King's College Invitational, Friday.

MU beat Wilkes in the opener, 3-2 (25-21, 25-22, 14-25, 14-25, 15-10) and dropped the nightcap to King's, 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-15).

Amy Porambo had 71 digs and Michelle DiCicco added 22 kills.

Rachel Hullinger added eight kills and 12 digs and Jesse Karger had 29 assists.

Misericordia will face Mt. St. Mary and Marywood, Saturday.
