The Misericordia University women's volleyball team improved to 6-3 with a 3-2 at former PAC rival Marywood, Monday.

After dropping the opener, 29-27, the Cougars took the next two games, 25-17 and 25-23.

Marywood tied it with a 25-21 win to set up the deciding game where the Cougars raced out to an 11-4 lead on the way to a 15-12 win.

Michelle DiCicco had nine-kills for the Cougars while Alexandra Goble had eight. Amy Porambo had a match-high 22 digs and DiCicco picked up five service-aces.

The Cougars will play a tri-match with Penn State-Abington at Cedar Crest, Saturday.
