The Misericordia University volleyball team won its fifth straight match with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-17) win over Mt. St. Mary in their home opener, Thursday in the Anderson Center.

Michelle DiCicco led the Cougars with eight kills and Rachel Hullinger, Alexandra Goble and Kristin Hoffman added four kills each.

Hullinger added five aces.

Jesse Karger had 14 assists and Meghan Hotaling added nine while Amy Porambo and Shannon Kane both had 10 digs.

Misericordia is 10-3 and will host Rosemont, Saturday at 1:00.
