Lacey DeGraw led four players in double figures as the Misericordia University women's basketball team cruised past Rosemont, 66-36, in non-league action, Monday night in the Anderson Center.
DeGraw scored a game-high 18 ponts and
Christine Marks added 12 ponts and seven rebounds.
Rachel Selert had 10 points and a team-high nine rebounds and
Vanessa Wright added 10 points.
The Cougars had a season-high 20 assists, including three each from Wright, Marks,
Lindsey and
Courtney Sykes and
Jesse Robinson.
MU opened the game on a 10-0 run and eventually built an 11-point halftime lead, 27-16.
DeGraw sandwich a pair of layups around layups from Wright and Lindsay Sykes in the opening minuts.
The Cougars put the game away with a 9-0 stretch midway through the second half.
After Wright nailed back-to-back jumpers, Selert drained a three-pointer and DeGraw converted a back-door layup to give M a 43-20 lead with 11:02 to play.
Misericordia, 7-6, will return to Freedom Conference action when they host Delaware Valley, Wednesday at 6:00 in the first ever meeting between the schools.
