The Misericordia University women's basketball team suffered a 58-55 Freedom Conference loss at Eastern, Monday.
Lacey DeGraw scored a game-high 21 points and added eight rebounds while
Jesse Robinson had 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Cougars rallied from a 31-22 halftime deficit and eventually pulled even, 53-53, with 1:09 to play.
After Eastern went ahead 56-53 on a three-pointer, DeGraw made layup to make it 56-55 with :31 remaining.
The Eagles converted a pair of free throws for a 58-55 lead with :29 to go and the Cougars missed four free throws over the final 24 seconds.
Misericordia is 8-8 overall and 4-5 in the Freedom Conference and will host SUNY-Cobleskill in a non-league contest, Wednesday at 6:00.
