The Misericordia University women's basketball team dropped a Freedom Conference contest, 70-52, Wednesday night at Alvernia.

Lacey DeGraw led the Cougars with 14 points and seven rebounds and Christine Marks and Courtney Sykes both added 13 points.

MU took an early five-point lead, but Alvernia recovered for a 36-21 halftime advantage.

Misericordia, 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the Freedom, will host Manhattanville, Saturday at 1:00.
