The Misericordia University women's basketball team couldn't recover from a double-digit halftime deficit as the Cougars saw their five-game win streak snapped, 74-63, Monday at Marywood.
Christine Marks had her fourth consecutive double-double with game-highs in points (25) and rebounds (10).

Jesse Robinson (11) and
Vanessa Wright (11) all scored in double figures for the Cougars, 5-3.
Misericordia led throughout much of the first half, but the Pacers used a 6-0 to take a 25-19 lead with 8:30 to play and never trailed again.
Tyann McDaniel drained a three-pointer to get MU within 36-32 with 3:50 to play in the opening period, but Pacers responded with nine straight points for a 45-33 lead.
Marks closed the half with a free throw and the Cougars went to intermission down, 45-34.
After Marywood stretched the lead to 51-35 in first five minutes of the second half, Marks connected for five straight points to pull within 53-42 with 11:36 to go.
Again Marywood answered with a 12-2 run to take their biggest lead of night, 65-44, with 7:06 left.
Marks, Wright & Robinson all sank two free throws to start a 17-2 to run to get the Cougars within 67-61 with 1:00 to play.
The Cougars will close out first semester action, Thursday at Rosemont.
