The Misericordia University men's basketball season came to a disappointing end with a tough 83-76 overtime loss at Delaware Valley, Saturday.

Vinny Baumunk ended his career with a 23-point performance while Dom DelPrete and Robbie Johnson added 17 and 14, respectively.

Senior Andy Smith had eight points and seven rebounds and classmate Marqus Hunter had five points and four rebounds in their final game.

Trailing 55-48 with 10 minutes remaining, DelPrete scored five points in a 13-3 run to give MU a 61-56 with 6:18 to play.

Baumunk's layup gave the Cougars a 72-66 lead with 1:34 to go, but the Aggies drilled a pair of three-pointers to force overtime.

The Cougars trailed 79-76 with a minute left in OT, but Del Val converted four free throws for the final margin.

Misericordia finished 11-14.
