The Misericordia University women's volleyball team won a pair of non-league matches Saturday at Lycoming.
The Cougars swept Penn College, 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-15) before rallying past Lycoming, 3-2 (22-25, 25-14, 24-26, 25-22, 15-7).
In the opener,
Krystal Burford led the attack with nine kills and
Lexie Goble added seven kills.
Meghan Hotaling had 21 assists and
Shannon Kane and
Jesse Karger combined for 25 digs.
Against Lycoming,
Lisa Holdsworth had 12 kills and
Cailin McCullion added 11.
Kane had four aces and
Kristin Hoffman had 22 assists.
MU improved to 11-5 and will visit DeSales, Wednesday.
