The Misericordia University women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision at Elizabethtown, Wednesday.

The teams battled evenly for 85 minutes before the Blue Jays tallied the lone goal with less than five minutes to play.

E-Town netted the game-winner on just their second shot on goal.

Ashley McDonell led the Cougars with four shots while Morgan Myers made one save in goal.

MU's best scoring opportunity came midway through the first half when Sam Helmstetter's shot hit the goalpost.
