Kim Suchoski had two goals and an assist and five other players scored goal in the Misericordia University women's soccer team's 7-2 win at DeSales, Tuesday.
Sam Helmstetter, Nicolette Hensel, Courtney Dillon, Kristen Gedon and
Christine Wilhelm all added goals.
Helmstetter gave MU a 1-0 lead off a corner from Roney at 9:31 and Suchoski made in 2-0 with an assist from
Jenica Keister just two minutes later.
After a DeSales goal at 20:41, Suchoski answered with an assist from
Alyssa Mocion at 23:05.
Hensel scored unassisted to make it 4-1 at 32:40 and assisted on Wilhelm's goal 38:36.
Dillon closed out the first half scoring with an unassisted goal at 42:31.
DeSales made it 6-2 early in the second half and Gedon rounded out the scoring with an assist from Suchoski at 66:11.
Misericordia opened a 6-1 halftime lead on the way to improving to 10-4-2 and 2-2-1 in the Freedom.
Morgan Myers and
Kelly Mott combined for nine saves in goal.
The Cougars will host FDU-Florham, Saturday.
