The Misericordia University volleyball team ended the regular season by splitting a pair of matches Saturday at the Messiah Invitational.
The Cougars beat Penn State Berks 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-15) behind eight kills from
Krystal Burford and six from
Lexie Goble.
Meghan Hotaling had 15 assists and
Shannon Kane added two aces and 13 digs.
MU lost to Messiah, 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-13).
Burford had 10 kills and
Kristiin Hoffman had 11 assists.
Burford was named to the All-Tournament team.
MU, 14-16, will travel to FDU-Florham for the first round of the Freedom Conferecne championships, Wednesday at 7:00.
