The Misericordia University volleyball team dropped a pair of hard-fought 3-1 losses to Lycoming, Saturday at the Lycoming Invitational.

In the final match of pool play, the Cougars took the opener, 26-24, but Lycoming rallied to win the next three, 25-23, 26-24, 25-22.

In the championship match, MU again took the opener, 25-20, but the Warriors won three straight, 25-21, 27-25, 25-21.

Cailin McCullion was named the All-Tournament team after posting 16 kills and 33 digs on the day.

Shannon Kane was also named to the All-Tournament team after recording 30 digs.

Krystal Burford had nine kills and four blocks and Kristin Hoffman hadded 45 assists and eight kills. Meghan Hotaling had 28 assists.

MU, 10-7, will host Eastern, Wednesday.
