Second-seeded Grove City scored five second half goals to beat Misericordia in the first round of the ECAC South Women's Soccer Championships, Wednesday afternoon in Grove City.

Misericordia carried the play for much of the first half and took a 1-0 lead on Jenica Keister's goal off a Kim Suchoski assist at 29:41.

The Cougars held a 10-6 advantage in shots in the opening period and took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Grove City took a 3-1 lead with a three goals in the first nine minutes of the second half.

The Wolverines added a pair of unassisted goals in the final 20 minutes to advance to this weekend's final four.

MU ends the season at 12-7-2.
