Lebanon Valley used a big second half to send the Misericordia University men's basketball team into the holiday break with a 93-67 defeat, Sunday in Annville.
Robbie Johnson led MU with 17 points and four assists and
Ethan Eichhorst added 14 points and nine rebounds.
MU trailed 35-19 with 4:01 remaining in the first half, but closed with a 13-2 run to cut the deficit to 37-32 at halftime.
Johnson and
Sean Bieski made back-to-back jumpers followed by a
Jeff Slanovec layup.
Following another jumper by Johnson and two free throws by Eichhorst, Slanovec drained a three-pointer with 25 seconds remaining.
The Dutchmen opened a 58-40 lead early in the second half and never looked back.
MU, 5-5, is off until the Coach's vs. Cancer Classic at York next month.
