Albright used a big second half to hand the Misericordia University men's basketball team its third straight loss, 86-69, Wednesday.
Ethan Eichhorst led the Cougars with 22 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Robbie Johnson had 16 points and
Jeff Slanovec added 10.
Trailing 35-28 at halftime,
Frank Nutt and
Matt Greene both drained three-pointers to get MU within three early in the second half.
Albright responded and stretched the lead to 73-57 to take control of the game.
After Albright scored the opening, Cougars scored eight unanswered points to take an 8-2 lead.
Eichhorst sank a jumper and gave MU a 4-2 lead with a layup after a three minute scoreless drought.
Johnson and
Sean Bieski made back-to-back jumpers to go up 82, but Albright recovered to take a 16-12 lead.
The Lions led 27-19 late in the first half before Johnson's jumper and free throw by Greene cut it to seven at half.
MU is 5-3 and will travel to Marywood, Saturday at 3:00.
