The Misericordia University men's tennis team swept the doubles matches on the way to a 7-2 win over FDU-Florham, Wednesday.
Fred Hockenbury, Brett Ford, Nate Powers and
Justin Muthler were all double winners for the Cougars.
Hockenbury won, 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 at second singles and joined
Nate Powers to win at second doubles, 8-1.
Ford rallied for a 2-6 6-4, 10-6 win at fourth singles and Muthler won 6-0, 6-0 at number five. Ford and Muthler were 8-0 winners at third doubles.
Brandon Lux and
Frank Nutt were victorious at first doubles.
The Cougars are 5-9 (2-2 Freedom) and will play at Manhattanville, Saturday.
