The Misericordia University men's tennis team won its regular season finale, 5-4, Saturday at Eastern.
Brett Ford, Nate Powers and
Justin Muthler were all double-winners as the Cougars improved to 3-3 in the Freedom and forged a tie for the final playoff berth.
Ford won 7-5, 6-4 at fourth singles and teamed with Muthler to win 8-2 at third doubles. Muthler was a 6-0, 3-6, 6-0 winner at sixth singles.
Powers won 7-5, 6-2 at fifth singles and joined
Fred Hockenbury for an 8-6 win at second doubles.
Brandon Lux was a 6-2, 6-3 winner at first singles for the Cougars.
