The Misericordia University men's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 decision at King's, Tuesday.
Trailing 2-1 after
Fred Hockenbury and Nate Poweres teamed for an 8-4 win at second doubles, the Cougars split the singles matches.
Brandon Lux won 6-2, 1-6, 7-5 at first singles and
Brett Ford won 6-3, 6-1 at number-four.
Justin Muthler won 6-0, 6-3 at sixth singles.
Frank Nutt lost at the third position, 6-7 (4-7), 7-5, 2-6,
The Cougars are 2-8 overall and 0-2 in the Freedom Conference and will visit Alvernia, Wednesday.
