The Misericordia University volleyball team lost a pair of matches in Scranton today, falling in straight sets to Dickinson and the University of Scranton.
In their opening match of the day, the Cougars couldn't recover after dropping an intense second set, eventually losing to Dickinson by a score of 3-0 (25-20, 29-27, 25-19).

Krystal Burford had team-highs with 11 kills and a .588 hitting percentage. Senior
Shannon Kane had 26 digs and a pair of service aces.

The Cougars lost their second match of the day, 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-14) to Scranton.
Cailin McCullion contributed with 5 kills and 10 digs, while Hoffman served up 10 assists.
Kane had a team-high 11 digs, and freshman
Nicole Korgeski had 10.
MU falls to 5-3 on the season and will host FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference matchup on Tuesday.
