Sam Helmstetter had a goal and two assists and Laura Roney had a goal and an assist to lead the Misericordia University women's soccer team to a 5-0 win at King's, Wednesday night.

Erin McGreal, Ashley DiPippa and Megan Lannigan all added goals for the Cougars while Danielle Hesler had an assist.

McGreal gave MU a 1-0 lead with a one-touch goal off an assist from Helmstetter at 16:29.

Lannigan collected a loose ball in the box and chipped a shot over the King's goalie for a 2-0 lead at 31:24.

Roney took a  through ball from Helmstetter for a breakaway goal and a 3-0 lead just one minute later.

Helmstetter finished off the first half scoring when she one-timed a cross from Roney for a 4-0 lead at 38:21.

DiPippa made it 5-0 when she headed home a corner kick from Hesler at 88:27.

Misericordia improved to 7-3-2 and will visit Eastern, Saturday at noon.
