The Misericordia University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-18) decision at Lebanon Valley, Friday.
Carly Zaklukiewicz and Cailin McCullion both had seven kills while Kristin had 20 assists and nine digs.

The Cougars opened the match with a 2-0 lead on kills by Zaklukiewicz and McCullion, but the Dutchmen responded with a 10-2 run to take a 10-4 lead.

MU got within 10-7 on three consecutive Leb Val errors, but LVC pulled ahead 15-8 and never looked back.

The Cougars went ahead 3-1 in the second game on a kill by Molly Harleman and two Leb Val errors.

After falling behind, 22-15, the Cougars pulled within 23-21 thanks to three kills from Zaklukiewicz, but couldn't get any closer.

Lebanon Valley opened an early 6-2 lead in the third set and the Cougars never got closer than three points.

The Cougars are 8-11 and will travel to FDU-Florham, Tuesday.
