Laura Roney scored 11 seconds into overtime to lift the Misericordia women's soccer team a 2-1 win at Eastern, Saturday.

Erin McGreal added a goal for MU while Sam Helmstetter assisted on both goals.

After a scoreless first half, McGreal gave Misericordia a 1-0 lead at 55:30 on a rebound off Helmstetter's shot.

Eastern tied it less than two minutes later and the score held until the extra session.

Roney's shot from 30 yards out floated over the EU keeper to give MU the win and a 3-0-1 mark in the Freedom Conference.

Jess Anderson made four saves in goal for the Cougars who stretched their unbeaten streak to six while improving to 8-3-2.

Misericordia will host DeSales, Tuesday at 7:00.
