The Misericordia University volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to Messiah and Widener, Friday at the Anderson Center.
After taking the opening set against Messiah, the Cougars fell 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 9-25, 18-25).
In the nightcap, MU lost to Widener, 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-15).
Against Messiah,
Cailin McCullion led the Cougars with 15 kills and 19 digs while
Carly Zaklukiewicz had six kills and 19 digs.
In the Widener match, McCullion had nine kills and 14 digs while Zaklukiewicz added seven kills.
Krystal Burford had six kills and
Kristin Hoffman had five kills, 20 and 15 assists.
The Cougars are 5-7 and will host King's, Tuesday.
