Alyssa Mocion scored twice to lift the Misericordia women's soccer team to a 4-3 win at FDU-Florham, Saturday.
Laura Roney added a goal as the Cougars improved to 10-3-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the Freedom while extending their unbeaten streak to eight.
Mocion gave MU a 1-0 lead midway through the first half with an unassisted goal off an FDU-Florham turnover.
Roney's shot a minute later hit the post and the score held until the Devils tied 10 minutes into the second half.
Roney put MU back in front when she took a pass from Helmstetter and beat the keeper one-on-one for a 2-1 lead at 60:53.
Mocion added an insurance goal off a corner kick from Hensel for a 3-1 lead 16 minutes later.
FDU scored twice over the final 12 minutes to send the match into overtime and Helmstetter netted the game-winner.
Misericordia will host Scranton, Wednesday at 7:00.
