The Misericordia women's tennis team won its Freedom Conference opener, 7-2, over King's, Saturday at the Kingston Indoor Tennis Club.
The Cougars swept the doubles matches and took four of six singles matches with
Michelle Cameron,
Breanne Phillips,
Ashley Mangabang and
Cassie Foy all winning twice.
Cameron and Phillips won at first and second singles, respectively, and teamed to win at first doubles.
Mangabang won at third singles and joined
Courtney Otto to win at second doubles.
Foy won at fifth singles and teamed with
Jennifer Spott to win at third doubles.
