9/13/2011 9:34:00 PM

Matt Scott scored 5:20 into overtime to lift the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 2-1 win at Susquehanna, Tuesday night.

Scott finished a feed from Eric Kishbaugh as the Cougars rallied from a 1-0 deficit to improve to 4-0.

Kishbaugh played a diagonal ball to Scott who found the back of the net for the game-winner.

Nick Ferguson added a goal and Dan Fritz made seven saves in goal.

The Crusaders took an early 1-0 lead when John Arnold found Andrew Hayes at 10:49 and it held up until halftime.

The Cougars nearly tied the score less than two minutes later, but Scott's shot caromed off the post.

Ferguson got MU on the board with a direct kick just 2:15 into the second half.

Greg Korhonen nearly put MU ahead with 10 minutes remaining in regulation, but his header was cleared off the line by the Crusades.

The Cougars managed a corner kick in the final minute of regulation, but the Crusaders held to force overtime.

Misericordia will host Arcadia, Saturday.
