The Misericordia University volleyball team opened its Freedom Conference schedule with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-17) sweep at Wilkes, Wednesday.

Cailin McCullion led the Cougars with 14 kills and two aces and Nicole Korgeski added 10 kills.

Krystal Burford and Kat LaBrie had nine and eight kills, respectively.

Kristin Hoffman had 32 assists and Kellyn Swanson added 14 digs.

MU, 3-1, will travel to Catholic for a tri-match with Marymount, Saturday.
