Laura Roney had a goal and an assist as the Misericordia University women's soccer team handed Moravian its first loss of the season, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in Bethlehem.

Roney gave MU an early lead on the regionally-ranked Greyhounds with her first goal of the season at 14:20.

She added an assist on Erin McGreal's first collegiate goal just two minutes into the second half.

Alyssa Mocion added an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute.

Jess Anderson made eight saves to record her second consecutive shutout.

MU, 2-2-1, will host Penn College, Tuesday at 7:00.
