Three different players scored goals to lead the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 3-1 win at Ursinus, Saturday.
Andy Bush,
Matt Scott and
Rob Wiacek scored for MU while
Nick Ferguson and
Greg Korhonen added assists.
Bush gave MU the lead with an assist from Ferguson at 10:45 and Scott made it 2-0 with an unassisted goal at 30:04.
Ferguson played a ball across the box that Bush one-timed into the net for the early lead.
Scott gave the Cougars an insurance goal when he turned his defender and hit a left-footed shot into the back of the net.
Wiacek got on the end of a long throw-in from Korhonen and headed in his first collegiate goal just seven minutes into the second half.
Dan Fritz made three saves in goal before allowing a goal in the final minute.
The Cougars held a 24-9 advantage in shots.
MU will travel to Gettysburg, Wednesday.
