Ashley DiPippa scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half to lead the Misericordia University women's soccer team to a 1-0 win at York, Sunday.

DiPippa collected a pass in the box, eluded a Spartans defender and slipped a shot inside the left post.

The Cougars held a 14-3 advantage in shots, including eight on goal.

Jess Anderson earned the shutout to pick up her first collegiate win in goal.

The Cougars host Lebanon Valley, Wednesday at 7:00.
