Brittany Luzik set a school record in the 100 butterfly (1:00.48) to lead the Misericordia University women's swim team to its first ever dual meet win over Albright, 143-119, Saturday at the Anderson Center.
Luzik added a win in the 200 fly (2:20.58) and teamed with
Bree Grzech,
Kiana Ramirez and
Chelsea Mixon to close the meet with a pool record victory in the free relay (3:44.43).
Grech won the 100 back (1:01.93) and 200 back (2:16.46) and joined
Allison Thomas, Luzik and
Aryn Zimmerman to open the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay (1:53.41).
Beth Karmondy won the 100 breast (1:11.79) and 200 breast (2:36.24) while
Amanda Stammherr finished second in both events.
Mixon was second in the 100 and 200 free while Zimmerman was second in the 50 free.
Holly Welsh, Stammherr,
Brianna Hiltey and Ramirez were second in the 200 medley relay.
MU improved to 7-2 and will travel to Scranton, Saturday.
