Ethan Eichhorst and Steve Artzerounian combined for 41 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Misericordia University men's basketball team to a 73-59 win over Delaware Valley, Saturday in the Anderson center.

Eichhorst had 21 points and eight rebounds while Artzerounian shot 10-of-11 from the floor for 20 points and eight rebounds.

Matt Greene added 10 points and five assists.

The Cougars led 34-31 at halftime and never trailed in the second half.

Artzerounian sandwiched a pair of layups around an Eichhorst free throw to open the second half and give MU a 39-31 lead with 17:02 to play.

Del Val cut the lead to 43-41 with 14:55 to go, but MU responded with jumpers from Eichhorst, Joe Busacca and Artzerounian for a 49-41 lead.

Greene followed a three-pointer from the top of the key for a 52-41 lead with 10:00 to play.

Eichhorst made a short jumper to go ahead 55-44 and Cael Evans' putback made it 57-44 with 8:02 remaining.

Slanovec converted a Greene steal into a breakaway layup and Evans followed with a layup for a 64-46 lead with 4:31 to go.

MU improved to 11-6 overall and 3-3 in the Freedom.  The Cougars will visit King's, Wednesday.
