The Misericordia University women's swim team lost to national power Stevens, 164-87, in their season opener, Saturday at the Anderson Center.

Stevens broke four pool records in the win.

Dani Blass finished second in the 200 free (2:03.81) and 200 breaststroke (2:30.82) while Brittany Luzik was second in the 100 (1:01.72) and 200 butterfly (2:23.19).

Bree Grzech, Blass, Luzik and Aryn Zimmerman teamed to finish second in the 200 medley relay (1:52.61).

MU will compete against East Stroudsburg at Kutztown, Saturday.
