Sam Helmstetter's hat trick led the Misericordia University women's soccer team to a 5-0 win at Delaware Valley, Saturday.

Caitlin Boyle and Meghan Antrim added goals while Nicolette Hensel and Laura Roney combined for five assists.

Helmstetter moved into third place on Misericordia's all-time scoring list with 100 career points.

She gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead just one minute to the game and made it 2-0 at 37:00.  Boyle put MU ahead 3-0 less than two minutes later.

Antrim scored just 4:40 into the second half and Helmstetter closed out the scoring just over a minute later at 50:50.

The Cougars held a commanding edge in shots, 24-4, and had a 12-1 edge in corners.

Misericordia, 9-2-1 (2-0 Freedom), will host Eastern, Wednesday at 7:00.
