The Misericordia University basketball teams will host Wilkes in their Freedom Conference openers, Wednesday at the Anderson Center.
Both games will be broadcast by MyNetwork TV and will be carried on Comcast and Service Electric.
The women's game is set for 6:00 p.m. and features a pair of unbeatens as both teams enter with 3-0 records. The men's game will follow at 8:00 p.m.
Under first-year head coach
Allison Kern, the MU women are 3-0 for the first time in nearly 25 years after a thrilling 59-58 win at Lycoming a week ago.
Hannah Seely leads the Cougars in scoring and rebounding with 12.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while
Kayla Sileo adds 11.3 points per game.
Wilkes is led by Elena Stambone with 22.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Megan Kazmerski adds 10.7 points per game for the Colonels while Ellen Rich has a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game.
The Misericordia men are 2-2 after a pair of tough losses last week.
Junior team captain
Matt Greene leads the Cougars in scoring at 14.5 points per game while shooting 51.7% from three-point range.
Steve Ware is coming off a double-double at Centenary and adds 9.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Wilkes, 2-1, is led by Chris Shovlin with 28.3 ppg while Tyler Breznitsky and Bernard Edmonds add 12.7 and 12.3 ppg, respectively.
