Doug Ranson was a double-winner, but the Misericordia University men's swimming team couldn't fight past Rowan, falling to the Profs 153.5-101.5 on Saturday afternoon at the Anderson Center.
Ranson swept the breaststroke events, edging Rowan's Tyler Coe to win the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.05 and cruising to victory in the 200 with a time of 2:14.90.
Freshman Pat Dunigan also earned a victory in the 200 individual medley, finishing in a time of 2:02.43.
The Cougars return to action on Thursday, traveling to local rival King's for their first MAC opponent of the season.
