The Misericordia women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 8-1 win over Eastern, Saturday.

The Cougars wrapped up the second seed in the Freedom championships and will host King's in a first round match, Tuesday at 3:30.

Michelle Cameron, Breanne Phillips, Cassie Foy, Emily Boro and Emily Gherghel were all victorious in singles play for MU.

Cameron, 7-6, 6-1, won at number one while Phillips won 6-1, 6-1 at number two.

Boro was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at third singles and Gherghel won 6-0, 6-0 at number six.

Cassie Foy was 6-4, 3-6, 11-8 at fourth singles.

Cameron and Phillips teamed to win at first doubles (8-1) and Boro and Foy won at second doubles (8-1) while Emily Hullings and Ghergel won at number three (8-6).
