The Misericordia University volleyball team evened its Freedom Conference record with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 28-26) sweep at Delaware Valley, Wednesday.

Cailin McCullion led the Cougars with 15 kills and 16 digs while Meghan Stack added 13 kills and three aces.

Nicole Korgeski had 26 assists and 16 digs.

In the opening set, Delaware Valley scored seven of eight points to tie the score, 10-10, but the Cougars responded with six straight points to pull away.

In the middle set, MU scored five of seven points to break an 8-8 tie and never looked back.

Misericordia trailed throughout most of the final set before taking its first lead, 22-21.  The Cougars led 24-22, but a Del Val kill and back-to-back aces gave the Aggies a 25-24 lead.

McCullion had two straight kills to give MU a 26-25 lead, but Del Val tied it again.  The Aggies were called for a net violation and a DVC hitting error ended the match.

Misericordia, 7-4, will travel to Marywood for a tri-match with Rosemont, Saturday.
