DeSales used a 10-0 run midway through the second half to overcome a 54-53 deficit and never trailed again.
Hannah Seely led the Cougars with 19 points while
Tyann McDaniel and
Lauren Smicherko added 14 and 12, respectively.
The Cougars scored the first 10 points of the game and led 19-8 with less than seven minutes gone in the opening half.
Seely and McDaniel both scored four points in the early spurt as the Cougars led 10-0 in the first four minutes of the game.
Seely's three-point play gave the Cougars their biggest lead of the game, 19-8, with 13:24 to go in the half.
DeSales rallied and took their first lead, 30-29, with 5:34 to play.
Kayla Sileo converted a three-point to put the Cougars ahead, 32-30.
DeSales scored seven straight points for a 37-32 lead before Smicherko made back-to-back buckets jumper put the Cougars back in front, 38-37.
DeSales answered and took a 39-38 lead into halftime.
Down 45-42 early in the second half, McDaniel drained a three-pointer to tie it with 16:09 remaining.
Seely's layup gave the Cougars a 47-46 lead with 14:41 to go.
DeSales took a 53-49 lead, but McDaniel responded with another three-pointer to get MU within 53-52 with 11:51 to play.
Nikki Baro's putback gave the Cougars a 54-53 lead, but DeSales answered with 10 straight points.
Misericordia committed 26 turnovers and the Bulldogs took advantage by converting them into 32 points.
Misericordia (8-6, 3-2), will travel to Delaware Valley, Saturday.
