Box Score Misericordia outshot Eastern, 27-2, on Saturday afternoon but it took 107 minutes to net the lone goal of the afternoon. Megan Mahoney scored in double overtime to give the Cougars a 1-0 a win on the road against the Eagles.

With the win, Misericordia moves to 12-2-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in Freedom Conference action.

Mahoney attempted nine shots for the afternoon, six of which were on net and saved by keeper Elayna Simpson. 

Megan Lannigan put three on net while Alyssa Mocion registered two. For the day, Misericordia put 14 shots on goal.

Stellar again was a Cougar defense that registered its 10th shutout of the season and moved the scoring differential for the season to 55-6.

Maureen Ciccosanti earned the win in net for the Cougars, making one save in the effort.

The Cougars are back in action on Oct. 23 at home vs. DeSales. Gametime is 7 p.m.
