Box Score The Misericordia University volleyball team had its four match win streak snapped with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-8) Freedom Conference loss at DeSales, Tuesday.

Kellyn Swanson, Kate Stuessy, Nicole Korgeski and Meghan Stack all had five kills to lead the Cougars.

Nicole Tagerty added 18 assists and Shelby Brochetti had 15 digs while Lexi Giannone had two aces.

The Cougars took a quick 5-1 lead in the opener thanks to Giannone's two aces and eventually led 16-13 on a Korgeski kill.

DeSales broke a 17-17 tie with three straight points and the Bulldogs finished the set with a 4-0 run for a 25-19 win.

The Bulldogs raced out to a 7-0 lead in the second set and never looked back as the Cougars never got closer than five points.

DeSales used a 7-1 spurt to take an 11-4 lead in the nightcap and the Bulldogs scored nine of the final 10 points to close out the match.

Misericordia, 12-14, will play Penn State Berks in a tri-match at Lebanon Valley, Saturday.
