Box Score The Misericordia University women's soccer team moved to 13-2-1 (5-0 Freedom) with a 3-0 win over DeSales on a cold Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 6-7-3 overall and 0-4-1 in league play.

The game remained scoreless through the first 45 minutes as both teams struggled to find opportunities to score, but the Cougars finally broke through in the 46th minute when senior Emily Esposito scored off a nice cross from Megan Mahoney.

Maureen Ciccosanti had the win in net for the Cougars, making three saves.

MU is back in action on Friday at FDU-Florham.
