Box Score The Misericordia University volleyball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit before dropping its regular season finale in heartbreaking fashion, 3-2 (13-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 14-16) at Wilkes.

espite the loss, the Cougars clinched a spot in the Freedom Conference Tournament.
After Wilkes took the first two sets, the Cougars responded with 25-20 and 25-22 victories to force a fifth set.
Lexi Giannone gave the Cougars a 12-10 lead with an ace and
Meghan Stack made it 13-10 with a kill.
Following a Wilkes timeout, another Stack kill put MU ahead, 14-12.
Two consecutive attack errors by the Cougars tied the score and Wilkes' Casey Bohan gave the Colonels a 15-14 lead with a kill and closed out the match with a kill that deflected off an MU blocker.
Stack led the Cougars with 20 kills and
Nicole Korgeski and
Shelby Brochetti had 14 kills apiece.
Kellyn Swanson had six kills and 17 digs and
Nicole Tagerty added 45 assists.
Misericordia finished 12-17 overall and 3-4 in the Freedom. The Cougars will travel to top-seeded Eastern, Wednesday.
Wilkes, 18-10/6-1, will host DeSales in the other Freedom semifinal.
