Shannon Croasdale and
Justine Seely both had 14 points to lead four MU players in double figures.Â
Sam Baro had 13 points and
Lauren Smicherko added 12 while
Hannah Seely had nine points and a team-high nine rebounds.
The Cougars opened the second half on 16-2 run to take a 40-26 lead less than five minutes into the half.
Hannah Seely opened the half with a baseline drive as she and her sister combined for MU's first eight points to give the Cougars a 32-26 lead.
Smicherko followed with a driving layup and
Justine Seely took a steal coast-to-coast to make it 38-26.
Croasdale capped the run with an 18-foot jumper for a 40-26 lead with 15:14 to play.
After a Manhattanville bucket, Croasdale got the shooter's roll on a short jumper to put MU ahead, 42-28, and the Cougars maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
Sam Baro's pull up jumper gave the Cougars a 57-41 lead with 8:05 to go and layups by Smicherko and
Katie Drayton stretched the Misericordia lead to 63-41 with 6:29 remaining.
Misericordia improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the Freedom.
