The Misericordia University men's tennis team was swept by Immaculata, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon at the Misericordia Tennis Complex.
Tony Goodall and
Christian Pugliese each took their matches at third and fourth singles to the third set tiebreaker after falling behind early.
Goodall dropped his first set 6-3 before a 6-1 win in the second set, but he fell 10-4 in the super tiebreaker. Pugliese also dropped his first set 6-3 before earning a 6-3 win in set two, but he dropped the tiebreaker 10-6.
Goodall and
Eric Correll combined for a hard-fought 8-5 loss at second doubles.
The MU men return to action on Saturday when they host Stevenson.
